Quality Development Manager – Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Rwanda (ICPAR)

In her current role at ICPAR, CPA Christine Uwamahoro leads firm-level Audit Quality Assurance (AQA) reviews in alignment with IFAC’s Statement of Membership Obligation 1 (SMO 1), while also advancing financial and sustainability reporting standards, Compliance with Anti money laundering / terrorist financing / proliferation financing (AML/TC/PF) laws requirements and driving capacity-building initiatives across various sectors.

Prior to joining ICPAR, Christine worked at KPMG Rwanda, delivering audit, tax, and advisory services to clients across public, private, and non-profit sectors, with a focus on aviation, consumer markets, and state-owned enterprises.
