Kris is currently a Director of Central Queensland University, U Ethical and Permanent Care and Adoptive Families, as well as an independent member of the Victorian Department of Families, Fairness and Housing Audit and Risk Management Committee, and member of the Public Interest Oversight Board’s Standard Setting Boards Nominations Committee.

In her time as Chair of the Australian Accounting Standards Board she has worked closely with the International Accounting Standards Board and the International Public Sector Accounting Standards Board, and regional standard setting organisations.
