Chris Austin, CBE is a distinguished CIPFA-certified public finance leader with over four decades of experience in international development and public sector finance. He has held senior roles in the UK’s Department for International Development, Treasury, Cabinet Office and Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office. He retired from the UK civil service in June 2024 and now holds a number of trustee and advisory roles with not for profit organisations.

Chris was appointed trustee by founder member CIPFA, (The Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy.)
